Commentary: The English attack on Norway is a good example of “cutting support”. Had North Sea attacked instead of Norwegian Sea, the attack would have been a 3 vs. 2 and successful. Since NWS attacked, the North Sea support could be cut by F HEL, as it was. Granted, if NTH attacked, the F HEL move to NTH would have been successful; nonetheless, that unit will likely be disbanded as Germany loses 2 SCs this turn.
